Privacy Policy

Master Answer Writing is operated by Archit Kumar, sole proprietor, trading as ASPA Techworks (“we”). Archit Kumar is the data controller — the person who determines the purposes and means of processing the data described here. This page describes exactly what we collect when you use masteranswerwriting.com, why we hold it, and who else processes it. It is written to match how the product actually works rather than to cover every hypothetical.

What we collect

• Your identity. A mobile number, and an email address if you sign in with Google or add one. Your number is the canonical account identifier.
• What you tell us during onboarding. Which exam you are preparing for and your preferred medium.
• Your answers. Typed answer text, and photographs or PDFs of handwritten answer pages. Questions you paste yourself are stored and are private to your account.
• Evaluation output. Marks, parameter scores, examiner remarks, missed points and the model answers generated for you.
• Your credit ledger. An append-only record of every credit earned, purchased, spent, refunded or expired. It cannot be edited, including by us.
• Usage events. Which screens you opened and where you dropped off, so we can find where the product is confusing. Tied to your account.
• Sessions and one-time codes. A signed session token, and a hashed copy of any login code. We never store the code itself in readable form.

We do not collect your address, date of birth, government identifiers, or payment card details. Card and UPI details are entered directly with our payment gateway and never reach our servers.

Why we hold it

• To verify it is you, and to keep you signed in.
• To evaluate the answers you submit and show you the result.
• To keep your credit balance correct and auditable.
• To show your progress over time, and which gaps keep recurring.
• To detect abuse — for example, an account whose cost to run is wildly out of step with what it has paid.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of processors. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

• Anthropic — receives your answer text or page images, and the question, in order to evaluate it. Processed outside India. Not used to train models.
• Razorpay — handles payments. They receive your payment details directly; we receive only an order reference, a status and an amount.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business) — receives your mobile number to deliver login codes and notifications.
• Fast2SMS — receives your mobile number when a code is sent by SMS.
• Amazon Web Services — hosts the application and database in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1). Your answers and images are stored there.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or coaching institutes.

Cross-border transfer

Your data is stored in India. The one exception is evaluation: your answer and the question are sent to Anthropic for marking, which is processed outside India. If you would rather your answers were not processed abroad, do not submit them — there is no version of the evaluation that runs without this.

How long we keep it

• Answers, images and evaluations — for as long as your account exists, because your progress view depends on them.
• Ledger entries — retained even after individual items are deleted, in a form that no longer identifies you, because a balance that cannot be reconstructed is not an auditable balance.
• Login codes — minutes. They expire five minutes after they are issued.
• Sessions — until you sign out, or you sign out everywhere.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. You may also withdraw consent, which means closing your account.

These requests are handled by email today rather than by a button in the app. Write to aspatechworks@gmail.com from the email on your account, or from a number we can verify, and we will respond within 30 days. We would rather say that plainly than imply a self-service flow that does not exist yet.

Erasure removes your answers, images, evaluations and profile. Unspent purchased credits are forfeited on erasure, and we cannot restore an account afterwards.

Security

• The site is served only over HTTPS, with HSTS.
• Login codes are stored as SHA-256 hashes, never in readable form.
• The database is not reachable from the internet.
• Your answers and pages are private to your account and are not publicly addressable.
• Backups are taken nightly and verified by restoring them.

Children

Master Answer Writing is intended for candidates preparing for civil services examinations, who are adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we add a processor or start collecting something new, this page changes first. The date at the top tells you when it last did.
